When we started beta testing the Grammarly browser extension in Google Docs back in 2018, we concentrated on providing opinions concerning grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Nowadays, we're thrilled to inform you that we are bringing more of Grammarly's excellent writing feedback to Google Docs!
But when you compose in Google Docs, Grammarly will make suggestions for enhancing clarity along with correctness. Grammarly Premium subscribers have access to further recommendations related to participation and delivery.
Along with this expanded range of hints, which will be rolling out during the upcoming few weeks, you'll also see a brand new Grammarly sidebar once you compose with Grammarly in Google Docs. Navigating a lot of suggestions in a lengthy document can be overpowering, so we added this sidebar to assist you to examine them quickly and economically. The sidebar appears on the ideal side of your file and lets you scroll through Grammarly's suggestions quickly. To open the sidebar, click on the green G or red number that appears in the lower right corner of your window.

Also available in Google Docs for the first time in Grammarly's Set Aims panel. Access it by clicking on the target icon in the sidebar. You can set goals linked to your audience, formality degree, and writing style to get more customized writing feedback.
